Finding Surprising Strength in Weakness
Dave Rendall, Keynote Speaker and Executive Coach, Rendall & Associates, Pikeville, NC

This presentation will explore the concept of human weakness. Most educators think that they should find and help fix their students’ weaknesses. Unfortunately, this just leads to frustration and failure both on the part of the student and the educator. Weaknesses are actually the best clue to strengths and helping students build those strengths, as opposed to fixing the weaknesses, is the best strategy for success. Participants will leave this keynote address energized with a new frame of reference that celebrates each student's unique capabilities and distinctive strengths.
